Dal Makhni

Steps:
  1. Heat a pan. Add butter and let it melt.
  2. Add chopped garlic, chopped ginger. Saute for a minute.
  3. Add cloves, green cardamom, shahi jeera.
  4. Mix well and saute.
  5. Add chopped onions, butter and mix well.
  6. Saute it until translucent.
  7. Add tomato puree and cook it for 2 mins.
  8. Add salt, garam masala. Mix well and let it cook.
  9. Add deg hi mirchi powder. Mix well until oil comes to the edges.
  10. Add boiled dal. Mix well. Add dal stock as well.
  11. Cover it and cook for 45 mins to an hour.
  12. Add cream and mix well.
  13. Serve hot in a bowl and garnish it with cream, ginger juliennes, butter and chopped coriander.
