Dal Makhni
Steps:
- Heat a pan. Add butter and let it melt.
- Add chopped garlic, chopped ginger. Saute for a minute.
- Add cloves, green cardamom, shahi jeera.
- Mix well and saute.
- Add chopped onions, butter and mix well.
- Saute it until translucent.
- Add tomato puree and cook it for 2 mins.
- Add salt, garam masala. Mix well and let it cook.
- Add deg hi mirchi powder. Mix well until oil comes to the edges.
- Add boiled dal. Mix well. Add dal stock as well.
- Cover it and cook for 45 mins to an hour.
- Add cream and mix well.
- Serve hot in a bowl and garnish it with cream, ginger juliennes, butter and chopped coriander.
