Heat oil in the pan and add chopped onions and sauté till it gets golden brown in colour.
Meanwhile to marinate the chicken take a bowl and add ginger garlic paste, salt, turmeric powder, red Kashmiri chilli powder, red chilli paste, dried rose petals, dried mint powder, fennel powder and mustard oil and mix it properly.
Now add the chicken and mix it well.
Marinate the chicken for 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes add curd in the marinated chicken,
Then add cardamom powder, clarified butter, chopped coriander leaves, green chillies, dried fenugreek leaves and again mix t properly.
Keep the mixture aside for 15 minutes.
Once the onions are golden brown remove it from the pan.
Now heat a cooker and grease it with clarified butter.
Now make the first layer with the cooked onions, then half boiled rice, add some rose water, Kewra Jal and marinated chicken.
Repeat the same layer again.
Then add milk, saffron essence, soaked saffron, fried onions and lets it cook for at least 40 – 45 minutes.
Now your Chicken Tikka Dum Biryani is ready to serve.
