Butter Chicken
Steps:
- In a bowl, add boneless chicken, salt, ginger garlic paste, kashmiri chilli powder, lemon juice and garam masala.
- Mix well. Keep aside for marinating for 15 to 30 mins.
- In a pan, add desi ghee and let it melt.
- Add ginger garlic paste and saute it for a minute.
- Add tomato puree, chicken masala, garam masala, chaat masala, cumin powder, slit green chillies, deghi mirchi powder and salt.
- Mix well and let it cook until ghee gets on the edges.
- In another pan, dry roast kasuri methi for a minute or two.
- Take it out on a plate and crush it to powder.
- In a grilling pan, add ghee and spread it evenly.
- Add the marinated chicken pieces and cook it from all sides.
- Add heavy cream to the gravy, and to adjust the consistency, add milk. Mix well.
- Add the chicken pieces and dry roasted kasuri methi. Mix well
- Cover it and cook it for atleast 15 mins.
- Add butter and mix well.
- Garnish it with butter and heavy cream.
- Serve hot in a bowl.
